National Auxiliary Links

  • Auxiliary National Web Site -- Serving the boating public, the National Auxiliary Web site provides information on Auxiliary boating safety classes and courtesy boat examinations and boating safety. The National Members Information pages are intended primarily for members of the Auxiliary. They contain Auxiliary announcements, forms and manuals, as well as links to other Team Coast Guard Web sites.
  • Forms and Manuals -- Electronic versions of Auxiliary forms and manuals are being made available online in a form that permits downloading and printing from your own computer. The electronic forms provide members with a quick and convenient method of obtaining good quality forms reproductions. The electronic manuals allow searching for keywords, browsing, or printing only selected pages. Electronic manuals available from this web site or the USCG Office of Coast Guard Auxiliary website should be regarded as official documents.
  • Auxiliary Directory of Services -- The Directory of Services of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary is a guide for the reader to become acquainted with the capabilities of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and its members. It lists the Auxiliary State Liaison Officers for each district as well as Coast Guard District information.
  • Members Open Forum -- A place for Auxiliarists and other members of Team Coast Guard to post and reply to messages of general interest concerning the Auxiliary and its programs. This open forum is an informal and unofficial place to exchange information. Normally, information posted on the open forum is not to be considered as official. However, from time to time, you may note that a member of the National Executive Committee, Chief Director and his staff, or a Department Chief will submit an official response. In these instances, you may consider this an official statement of policy or procedure.
  • Vessel Examination and Marine Dealer Visitation Department -- The Department of Vessel Examination is responsible for the expansion, maintenance, and quality of the Auxiliary's Courtesy Marine Examination, Vessel Facility Inspection, and Marine Dealer Visitors Programs, and other related programs. The courtesy examination is a FREE check of the boat's legally required equipment plus additional items the Auxiliary recommends for safety. If everything is in order the boat receives the distinctive Seal Of Safety decal. Any deficiencies are between the boater and the examiner. They are not reported to any authority.
